Release Date: July 25, If this is the best this series has to offer, it's hard to disagree. This series introduces a whole slew of Vertigo characters without explaining who they are, what they do, etc. An entertaining but not particularly meaty read, goes to quick and with too little story, with the characters I know almost alarmingly out of character. Inserting "dark" into the book's title obviously subjects it to a pretty heavy burden, but in this case, Milligan does a good job living up to it. Spacey Medicine Feb 9, James Tynion IV. After having watched the other 5 idiots flail around, making no progress, and then watching Constantine step up and single-handedly save the day, I'm like, why do we need a team. Tynion's decision to go with a horror vibe, although relatively mellow compared to either the gore of Image titles like The Walking Dead or the sheer creepy weird factor of Justice league dark #1 review series like Gaiman's Justice league dark #1 reviewworks surprisingly well in a mainstream book.
